Massimo Cillario was born in Dogliani, a small town in the heart of the Langhe area where wine and hazelnuts are the frame to its Majesty the truffle. He still lives in Dogliani with his family and he works in the centre of the world market of truffles - Alba and the Langhe- the real place where all products of gastronomic Piedmont have the best emphasis. The entrepreneurial aspect of "Tartufi al Massimo" stems basically from a twenty years’ experience in close contact with the local truffles hunters, the famous "Trifolao". This has allowed to differentiate the local product from that of other territories and to focus exclusively on the indisputed quality and freshness of the autochthonous truffles.
