Description
Bagna cauda, or ‘hot sauce’ in Piedmont dialect, is a traditional classic in the hilly areas of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. Salted anchovies, garlic and extra virgin olive oil are the essential ingredients of this convivial sauce. To be eaten hot with a rich variety of raw or boiled vegetables, or on meat carpaccio, it is a delicacy that combines its intense flavour with the pleasure of being together.
