Description
Gianduja Hazelnut Cream is a sweet, spreadable mixture of which the main ingredient is 55% Piedmont Hazelnuts I.G.P. (Protected Geographical Indication), with the addition of sugar, milk and cocoa.
Gianduja cream is ancient and a tradition in Piedmont. It originated around 1800 from the need of confectioners who, to counter the increase in the price of cocoa, added hazelnuts to the chocolate base; until today where it remains one of the most appreciated creams in the world.
The territorial and climatic characteristics of the Langhe make the Nocciola Tonda Gentile Trilobata the best hazelnut in the world.
Having such a high percentage of hazelnuts, it can make even a simple slice of bread tasty.
