DOGLIANI is one of the most widespread vines in Piedmont, produced from Dolcetto grapes even if its name is not linked to the taste of the wine.

The origin of the name derives from the Piedmontese dialect term "dosset". Which can have different interpretations such as "sweet" which refers to the notable sugar concentration typical of Dolcetto grapes or "soft" which can refer to the low acidity of its wines and the sensation of softness they generate on the palate. Even if by many it is translated as "soft and gentle hills", the distinctive feature of the Piedmontese territory of the Langhe, that is where the origin of the cultivation of the vine dates back.

Ruby red, velvety and fruity wine that leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste, all in perfect harmony.

DOGLIANI is ideal with appetizers based on cured meats, first courses (such as the traditional Langa tajarin with truffles or with meat sauce, agnolotti al plin or a classic baked pasta), white and red meats such as Battuta with knife of Piedmontese Fassona, or again with aged cheeses.
